| This bathtub was badly broken in the bottom. I decided to completely cut the bottom out. I built up a concrete base, undercutting the level of the bottom by about 3/16 inch. (This was on the ground floor so we could use concrete.) The concrete was then overlaid with fiberglass mat and resin, filled with material and finished. As you can see, we salvaged this bathtub for a fraction of the price of installing a new one. |
